More than £1m up for grabs from NHS Innovations to help bring ideas to life

Set up to help progress early stage innovations from within the NHS, the Medtech Accelerator is looking for applications from individuals or teams with innovations in the broad area of medical technology that meets unmet clinical needs. 

With individual awards of up to £125,000 on offer for concepts about devices, diagnostics, software and eHealth, the next application deadline for the Medtech Accelerator Awards Committee is Friday, 12^th May.

Shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to pitch to the committee on the 16^th June at Milton Hall near Cambridge, and those successful will be announced in July.  

The programme is spearheaded by Health Enterprise East , a not-for-profit organisation providing innovation services to several NHS trusts to help develop and commercialise pioneering healthcare innovations that can improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
