Multi-agency training opportunity: expressions of interest open

Ambulance and fire services

Are you interested in supporting multi-agency working?

We’re on the lookout for people to join us as Joint Emergency Services Inoperability Programme (JESIP) trainers to help deliver new and refresher courses to blue-light services in dealing with serious or critical incidents, as and when it’s required.

With one role available per county, this is a fantastic opportunity for development and expressions of interest are now open.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have experience of command roles at operational level
  • Are willing to undertake multi-agency working and training
  • Are able to deliver classroom based presentations and learning, and confident in answering questions
  • Can deliver the JESIP programme to a high standard (training and familiarisation will be provided)
  • Are happy to work in a variety of locations, many of which are likely to be non-Trust sites, e.g. fire service training facilities.

Please be aware this isn’t a substantive role, but one to assist with regional training delivery; successful colleagues will be released as and when required to deliver the course. You don’t need to have a teaching qualification, and you’ll receive a full ‘train the trainer’ course to support you in undertaking the role.

For more information, or to register your interest in this great opportunity, please email epcourses@eastamb.nhs.uk.
