National Ambulance Safeguarding awareness week

 The week of 14th- 18th September is our National Ambulance Safeguarding awareness week. 

 There are training sessions which are hosted by other ambulance trusts which are available for staff and volunteers to book and reference materials, which can be found on our safeguarding tab on EAST24 under “Safeguarding awareness week”

The topics are:

14th       Professional standards & Conduct & Domestic abuse- Materials relating to this will be on the EAST24 Safeguarding page

15th       Communicating with vulnerable patients- Find out more here 

16th       MCA fluctuating capacity & substance misuse- Find out more here

17th       What does a good referral look like & Self neglect & hoarding - Materials relating to this will be on the EAST24 Safeguarding page

18th       Non accidental injuries in children - Materials relating to this will be on the EAST24 Safeguarding page

 

We will be using the hashtag #ambsafeguarding throughout the week.

Hi, I've just been away on Annual Leave and so I've missed the opportunity to join these sessions. They look to be really useful. Were they recorded? If so, would I be able to gain access to the recordings? Thanks.

As it's work related, do we get overtime for completing them?
