Shoppers in Cambridge and Chelmsford were given free blood pressure checks last week, with four being referred to their GP for follow-up.
Clinicians joined the patient and public involvement team (PPI) at the Grafton Centre, Cambridge and the High Chelmer precinct in Chelmsford, where they checked the blood pressures of 181 members of the public.
Team member Victoria said: “We’ve had a couple of really busy days and it’s been great to hear lots of positive comments about the service. As well as the blood pressure checks, we’ve really engaged with the shoppers, giving them information leaflets and colouring books to younger visitors."
