New defibrillators on ambulances in west Essex

The Trust’s brand new Corpuls Defibrillators are now available for staff to use in west Essex.

The new lifesaving equipment was rolled out on Monday (19^th January) following a series of sessions in the area to train staff in how to use it.

Zoll defibrillators will still be available on ambulances to use whilst a small number of remaining staff receive their training and all staff feel comfortable to use it.

The rollout will now continue across the Trust.
