New ECAT call options

There are two new options available when calling the Emergency Clinical Advice and Triage (ECAT) line. 

When you call the ECAT number 01234 779203 there will be six options available to you:

Option 1 – Clinical Advice

  1. Emergency Clinical Advice: This is for calls that require immediate clinical advice when a patient is life-threatening and will go straight through to a clinical coordinator.
  2. Clinical Advice: For clinical advice.
  3. Discharge of Care: This is for newly qualified paramedics (NQPs) and private crews to discharge care of a patient.

Option 2 – Alternative Care Pathway Advice (ACP) or Systmone access
For any ACP advice and access to patient records on systmone through the ECAT.

Option 3 - Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
This will go straight through to SPOC.

Option 4 – Any other enquires
For all other enquires including frequent callers. You can let us know about a new or existing frequent caller, phone numbers, CAD note entry, etc.

Option 5 – NEAT Norfolk and Waveney *NEW
For the access to the NEAT Team.

Option 6 – Urgent Care Desk *NEW
For the access to the Urgent Care Desk.
