New GCP training available to staff

Staff with patient on stretcher at accident and emergency

A new learning module on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is available to all staff online.

The module is aimed to give pre-hospital staff an awareness of GCP, to help recruitment in to clinical trials.

It may be particularly useful for any student paramedics who are due to complete their week 10 training after 1st April.

The training has been developed by The North East Ambulance Service and the Academic Health Science Network for the north east and north Cumbria. The learning module (accessed via http://tinyurl.com/gcp4para) takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and following a short MCQ test, you will be issued a certificate of completion.

For more comprehensive GCP e-learning, please visit the NIHR CRN website and complete the introduction to good clinical practice (secondary care) module.
