New process for recruiting temporary staff

A new system to help combine the number of temporary staff agencies we use is being introduced.

From next week recruitment or extensions of temporary staff will be processed using 2Recruiter from Zeal. Timesheets and costs will also be approved using the new system from next Monday (3rd July).

Hiring and budget managers should be starting to receive logins and password details, and instructions about how to approve the timesheets and how to recruit or extend temporary staff. 

The agency providing the temporary staff is Adecco and they will also provide contact details should anyone have any system issues or queries.

The new timesheet approval process will see hiring managers receive an email each week, notifying them of a timesheet waiting to be approved.  As soon as this is completed, an email will be sent to the budget manager to approve the costs.  This process with both authorisations must be completed by 10am each Monday morning for the agency temp to be paid on time.

Please note that if an extension has not already been processed using the manual process and the temp is due to finish, the hiring manager will need to urgently request the extension using the new ZRecruiter system.  There is no guarantee that this can be completed before the temp finishes, if sufficient time has not been allowed for this.
