The Right-2 is a UK-wide ambulance-based study exploring whether lowering blood pressure at the acute onset of stroke (<4 hours), reduces death and disability.
The two-year trial tests the pre-hospital administration of GTN patches vs. sham patches by paramedics in FAST positive patients who have a score of two or three.
The research team will be launching the project with a training session to help interested staff learn more about Right-2, the science behind the trial and give the opportunity to complete the study training (CPD certificate available).
