New Trust intranet and website project underway

The Trust has begun work on a project to replace the Trust intranet and website with two brand new sites.

Both sites will be hosted by a new provider in order to improve their overall look, content and user experience which will make a real difference to the Trust.

The project originally began at the beginning of the year when a new supplier was secured, but it has been on hold up until now due to COVID-19. Now the project has officially restarted, and the project team is working alongside the new provider to get this up and running as soon as possible.

The first phase of development will be the new intranet which is moving to a cloud based system, meaning that staff who are out and about will be able to access the site using their Trust log-in from any device, wherever they are. In advance of this, the new provider will run a series of discovery sessions with staff to learn more about the current user experience of the intranet and understand how they would like the new site to look and feel. This feedback will then be used to assist in the design and build of the new site.

Over the next few weeks, the project team will be getting in touch with each department around the Trust to make sure each area has an opportunity to provide feedback should they wish to do so. Each team will have a point of contact identified who will gather feedback for their area and be able to bring comments to the project team to incorporate when planning the project.

If you would like to be involved in shaping the new site, and have some ideas about what it should incorporate then please take the opportunity to share your thoughts with the team when they get in touch.

If you would like any further information in the meantime, please contact the project team:
