Next stage of the BME survey

Generic survey icon

Thank you to everyone who completed our recent BME consultation survey.

We received a good response rate with approximately 50% of staff invited to take part actually completing the survey. The results are currently being analysed by our external partner organisation – McKenzie LLP.

The next stage of this activity is to give you the opportunity to either:

1: Have a confidential, one to one telephone discussion with an external Equality, Diversity and Inclusion specialist from McKenzie LLP.

2: Join one of four virtual discussion events with up to eight of your colleagues. These events will be run by an external Diversity and Inclusion specialist – again from McKenzie LLP and will be delivered virtually by Microsoft Teams. Please note: these events are best accessed from either a laptop, desktop or tablet computer and not a smart phone.

Both of the above activities are designed to give you the opportunity to provide further confidential information relating to your own experiences as a minority ethnicity employee working within EEAST. Please feel free to join either one, or both of the different types of events - even if you did not complete the original online survey.

We stress these activities will be conducted informally with all responses ultimately being forwarded to the senior team in EEAST in a completely anonymised format.
