NHS Change Day is back – with a new name!

NHS Change Day started in 2013 and is the biggest day of collective action for improvement in the history of the NHS.

Now it is called Fab Change Day, and this year, will be coming to you on 19th October.

You can get involved by adding your support to one of the 10 campaigns for 2016, attending an event or activity in your area, downloading the Fab Change Day app, or adding a twibbon to your Twitter or Facebook account.

And as always, you can share your pledges, promises and ideas.

The campaigns this year include:

  • #MatExp - improving women’s maternity experience
  • #DementiaDo: Never mind the dementia, let’s see the PERSON - seeing the person behind a dementia diagnosis
  • #Sepsis toolkit – improving recognition and getting the basics right
  • #TimetoChange: the national mental health anti-stigma campaign – asking NHS staff to speak up about their own mental ill-health
  • #MyMeds - reminding healthcare professionals who see patients in urgent or emergency care settings, to check what regular medications the patient has, and to make sure, if appropriate, they are delivered.

For more information on the 2016 campaigns and the day itself, visit the Fab Change Day website.
