Local media in Norfolk have picked up on a story that the Health Service Journal recently ran, regarding the Norfolk 111 service that we run and suggested the Trust could pull out of the contract. I am really proud of the service our staff are providing to the public in Norfolk through the 111 number – together we have made this one of the top performing 111 services in the country. We do face financial pressures with the service, but we are working closely with the Clinical Commissioning Group to resolve these. I am committed to maintaining our 111 service, providing the best possible help to the public who call us and reaching a satisfactory agreement with our commissioners.
