One day to go: Cambridgeshire is moving

HEOC dispatcher

Tomorrow morning (7th August) at 7am, Cambridgeshire is due to move back under the direction of Norwich EOC.

This means that all dispatching, call handling and other EOC duties for Cambridgeshire will be centralised in Norwich EOC; currently the call-handling for Cambridgeshire is done in Norwich with the dispatching completed in Bedford EOC.

A relocation team, which has more than 40 years collective EOC experience, has been planning the move over the past few months to ensure the transition is a smooth one.

The move will bring Cambridgeshire in line with the new regional localities and within Norwich EOC itself there will now be two dispatching desks specifically for the Cambridgeshire area – one for north and one for south.

Cambridgeshire, Bedford EOC and Norwich EOC staff have already received information from the relocation team about the move, but if you do have any queries you can email cambsrelocationQ&A@eastamb.nhs.uk and a member of the team will come back to you.
