Online patient experience surveys

Patient information cards

Listening to the views of our patients enables the Trust to identify what is working well but also to highlight areas which may require service improvements.

Given the current situation, the Trust has temporarily ceased the undertaking of patient experience postal surveys. However, it is crucial that the Trust continues to provide patients with the opportunity to provide feedback in relation to the service received, especially during this unprecedented time.

Therefore, although postal surveys have been halted, the main continuous surveys (for Emergency Services, Emergency Clinical Advice and Triage and the Patient Transport Service – regular survey and the Friends and Family Test survey) have been uploaded onto EEAST’s public website. Patient information cards (which include the web address along with a QR code) have been designed to promote the online surveys and enable patients to easily provide their feedback online.

The patient information cards will be distributed to stations and Patient Transport Service bases across the region this week. Please could an information card be left with each patient following their contact with the service. The patient can then complete and submit the online survey in their own time.

Thank you to all staff for their assistance and for continuing to provide patients with the opportunity to feedback on their experiences.

If you have any questions in relation to the patient information cards, please contact the Patient Survey Team via email:
