Opportunity to train as TRiM assessor

EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

As the Trust continues to make improvements to wellbeing services, new assessors are being recruited to support our trauma risk management (TRiM) service.

Following any traumatic incident, staff can be referred, or you can refer yourself, for TRiM assessment. It is not a medical process, but evaluates the level of trauma exposure, how you are coping and will signpost appropriate help if necessary.

A number of new TRiM practitioners are needed in all locations and operational roles. It is a voluntary position, but time in lieu will be given for your work as an assessor.

The first training course is in Norwich on 6 - 7th December, with courses in Great Notley and Melbourn to follow in February. The deadline for applicants for the Norwich course is midnight on 9th November.

If you want to apply, get an information pack, or have any questions, please contact wellbeing@eastamb.nhs.uk.
