PaperCut – coming soon to all Trust sites

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. PLEASE READ TO AVOID PRINTING ISSUES

Over the coming weeks, the IT team will be installing a new printing solution on all of the Konica Minolta printers within the Trust called PaperCut. PaperCut will enable the Trust to improve its governance around printing and reduce waste, resulting in elimination of prints left waiting to be collected and prints sent to the wrong machine.

The Trust will be transitioning all printing to managed Konica devices to meet these requirements. Documents sent to print will remain in the queue to be released for 24 hours before being deleted.

This will be rolled out in three phases across all localities in this order:

  • Beds & Herts
  • Essex
  • Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambs

This will mean that you will need your Trust ID card, or Trust logon credentials, to release your print jobs when going to collect them from the printer, and when you photocopy or scan documents to email.

You will need to add the relevant FollowMe print queue from EAST24, or via this link. This will allow you to release your print job from any printer where the PaperCut solution is now enabled.

NOTE: You will no longer be able to print to these printers directly, once PaperCut is installed and enabled.

There are eight print queues available across the Trust. These are as follows:

If there is a FollowMe queue listed above that matches your main site of work, please use this, otherwise please use the AOC site that is closest to your station\base of work.
