Paramedic Graham appointed to join College of Paramedics council

Our congratulations go to one of our own this week who has been chosen as a new council member for The College of Paramedics.

Graham Clark, a senior paramedic who works out of North East Hertfordshire, said: “I am very excited about this new role, this year’s conference gave us an insight in to the future of our profession – one that is rapidly evolving and key to the future of our national health service.”

“I plan to use this appointment to strengthen the presence of the college within the Trust and local universities, set up a regional group and run an annual CPD event focusing on clinical training that members feel they require.”

The college has also announced that from May, members will have access to the new The British Paramedic Journal which will feature research articles directly related to our profession.

Graham will be representing the College of Paramedics at this year’s trauma care conference in Stone, Staffordshire on 18th April. More information can be found on the trauma care website.

If you are interested in representing the college as an ambulance station liaison, or would like to get involved in CPD, email graham.clark@collegeofparamedics.co.uk. Information about joining the college can be found online, with student membership starting from as little as £2 a month.
