Paramedic takes on Everest challenge

Mountain OPT

Paramedic Dave Gregory, from Bury St Edmunds, is taking on a 17-day challenge to trek to Everest base camp to raise money for The Railway Children charity.

The Railway Children charity protects vulnerable children who live alone on the streets, where they often suffer abuse and exploitation.

Dave has started training for the event, which takes place in March and said: “The expedition to Everest base camp is by invitation only so I am honoured to be taking part. The charity is a very good cause, helping those in need on the streets of not only the UK but India and Africa too.”

Dave is hoping to raise £3,000, so please visit his JustGiving page to donate.
