Participants needed for a new equality project

Ambulance side shot

Would you like to be part of a new project examining black and ethnic minority (BME) participation in paramedic science in the east of England?

Health Education England has commissioned the charity equality challenge unit (ECU) to research BME representation in paramedic science.

The ECU works to support equality and diversity for staff and students in higher and further education.

As part of the project, ECU is particularly interested in confidentially speaking to BME staff at EEAST, including those who are currently:

  • on the student paramedic programme
  • BME paramedics
  • BME community first responders and community members who have an interest in potential careers as a paramedic.

The project builds on previous research in the Midlands, and will run until November.

If you have any questions about the project or would confidentially like to express interest in participating, please email research@ecu.ac.uk.
