The results of October’s patient experience survey have been published which reveal another month of high ratings.

Almost 100 patients who received emergency care responded to questionnaires, with 99% saying they were very satisfied, satisfied, or fairly satisfied with the overall service they received.

“Exemplary,” “gold star”, “very professional” and “brilliant” were some of the comments from patients you cared for.

More than 95% of respondents rated the handling of their 999 call as very acceptable or acceptable, and nine out of 10 said the length of time they waited for the service to arrive was very acceptable or acceptable.

Ninety-eight percent of respondents added that their journey was very comfortable, comfortable or fairly comfortable and 98% added that the care they received was very satisfactory, satisfactory or fairly satisfactory.

Chief Executive Robert Morton said: “I’m thrilled with these latest results which show how highly the majority of patients rate the service they receive from you.

“This is down to the outstanding care you deliver 24/7 and I’d like to thank you for your continued dedication.”
