Payroll Notification

The Trust is experiencing a significant increase in payroll paperwork being received after the published cut-off dates.  Therefore employees do not receive their correct and full pay on either pay run (Main run or the catch-up Supplementary run). This requires manual intervention to make payments.  The additional work this causes is not sustainable.

The cut off dates are shown below, and this notice is to remind managers responsible for these submissions how important, especially in current circumstances, it is to adhere to these deadlines to ensure everyone gets paid their correct entitlements on time.

Going forward, should a member of your team not receive all the monies that they believe they are owed please contact the Finance department if you require a manual payment to be made.  If this is in relation to overtime, then a copy of the timesheet will be required together with details of when it was submitted and the reasons why it was missed. 

 This request should be emailed to pay.queries@eastamb.nhs.uk only.

 Payroll do not process these requests so please do not copy them into any emails relating to this, Finance will manage this additional workload.  Please make sure that you include your contact details on your email request in order that any queries can be promptly resolved.  Once the manual payment request has been fully authorised by Finance and HR it will sent to Payroll to action as a 3-day payment.
