The NHS pensions choice exercise began in January 2010 and gave eligible members the chance to move their pension from the 1995 section of the scheme to the 2008 section.
From autumn, eligible members who chose not to move to the 2008 section will be given a second opportunity, under the choice 2 exercise. Relevant information regarding the options for employees who may be affected by these changes, can be downloaded from the site.
