People and Culture put the Fun into Fundraising

Silly socks for Autism Awareness Week 2019

The Trust’s People and Culture team got together last week for World Autism Awareness Week, sporting silly socks, running cake sales and raffles to raise funds for Eastern Region local independent charity Autism Bedfordshire.

The charity are a voluntary organisation, specialising in supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, as well as their families and professionals.

The team raised a whopping £331! A very big thank you to everyone that showed their support and to those who contributed to the raffle and cake sale. Lots of you joined in with the fun, raising money for the charity and awareness for Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Sarah Grimes, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Autism Bedfordshire, said: "We are so incredibly grateful to East of England Ambulance Service Trust for their generosity and support. The money raised will help to make a real difference to those whose lives have been affected by autism”.
