Places available on art therapy workshop

RRV with blurred paramedic

During September, we have been invited to attend some art therapy groups which have been specially funded to support people with mental health issues in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

Attending these sessions will enable us to talk openly with people to learn more about their challenges, and to learn how we can spot signs of stress, or support and assist recovery in our work environment.

The aim will be to join in the workshop, discussing the work we do, the stresses we face on a day to day basis, and then to produce some art for the Trust which will represent what we are all trying to do at the moment to rid the workplace of the stigma of mental health illness.  This will eventually be shown around the Trust and will form part of the wellbeing team’s promotional material.

If you are interested, you will need to please commit to a two hour session (10.30am – 12.30pm), on any Tuesday morning in September.  Please contact debra.winterson@eastamb.nhs.uk if you want to know more.
