Places available on EZ-IO workshop

A free training workshop on the use of EZ-IO will be taking place in Coventry next month, and is open to ambulance colleagues.

The continued professional development (CPD) session, run by Teleflex, is designed to help clinicians develop their knowledge, understanding and the essential skills needed when using the Arrow EZ-IO intraosseous vascular access system in emergency situations. Each workshop is around three hours long, with an opportunity to get hands on practice.

The following will be covered:

• EZ-IO clinical principles
• anatomy and physiology of the proximal humerus
• EZ-IO procedural clinical skills lab.

The sessions will be at the west Midlands surgical training centre on Tuesday 20^th and Wednesday, 21^st September at 9am-12.15pm, 1-4.15pm and 5-8.15pm (evening session will only be on 20^th September).
