The Trust has been made aware of a potential issue with our blood glucose measurement device and test strips.
The supplier has advised that during the packaging process, a limited number of blood glucose test strip lots may include an open test strip vial, which may provide incorrect low blood glucose results.
Twelve lot numbers are affected as detailed below. Please check your stocks and suppliers as soon as possible - any test strips found with one of these lot numbers should be returned to your Trust supplies centre.
