Pre-alerting stroke patients at Lister

In order to improve the speed and access to specialist stroke teams for patients with acute stroke, the Lister Hospital has requested that all suspected stroke patients are pre-alerted prior to arrival via the emergency department pre-alert number:

Please be sure to make clear during the pre-alert call if the patient is within the thrombolysis time frame (<4.5 hours from onset).
