Pride events this summer

NHS LGBT badge

Would you like to represent the Trust at a public event? The Trust LGBT Network is organising to attend Cambridge, Norwich & Ely Pride events this summer. They are looking for any staff, volunteers or students who would like to join them at any of these events. There will be options to assist on the Ambulance Service stand, take part in the parade or both.

There will be opportunities to present your position within the Trust, talk about recruitment and how the Trust is an equal opportunities employer. This would include showing the public around an ambulance and its equipment and demonstrating CPR with the Resus Annie mannequins.

These are family events that reach out to all people in the community, regardless of background, belief or sexuality. This is a coming together of all people to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion. These events are widely and well received by the public and previous participants have said that they have found the experience to be very rewarding and enjoyable.
