Action to be taken

  • Please check all stations, vehicles and spare cannulation modules for the affected lot numbers and confirm to your supplies centre that this has been completed (contact details below).
  • If you discover any affected lot numbers, please remove them immediately from use.
  • In the event of the product being used on a patient, replace with an alternative product immediately; please observe the area for signs and symptoms of infection, e.g erythema, oedema, pain or discharge and treat appropriately. Every effort should be made to follow up on patients no longer under the care of a healthcare provider.

Please contact your supplies centre and let them know how many boxes you have for replacement. You should also return any recalled products to your supplies centre. The supplier has indicated that all products should be returned by 29th December, so please action these requests as soon as possible, thank you.
