Psychosis site is valuable mental health resource, say researchers

Glove box OPT

A website detailing the causes, treatment and care of psychosis has been recommended for frontline staff wanting to know more about the condition.

The site has been developed with the help of researchers who work at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, part of King's College London, and mental health professionals who work at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Although the site is primarily aimed at family members and friends of people who have experienced psychosis, the information is based on research results as well as guidelines, publications and policies from the Department of Health, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and other policy-making and statutory organisations, so is a useful resource for frontline staff.
