The courses will be held in Dereham Norfolk on the following dates:

The course is a one day programme aimed at creating a shared understanding of Quality Improvement (QI), this will be achieved through a general introduction of QI concepts, tools and methods which in turn will contribute to building an improvement culture. QSIR Fundamentals has been designed for staff who have had little or no experience of QI. This course is suitable for people from all areas of the organisation NOT just clinical.
Participants will apply their learning to improvement ideas during the course of the programme which in turn accelerates personal and organisational learning. It is suited to staff who are involved or interested in quality and service improvement projects within their organisation.

The course will cover the below topics:

  • The PDSA cycle
  • Working with Stakeholders (Stakeholder engagement, identifying stakeholders and prioritising stakeholders)

  • Measurements throughout an improvement project

You will need your line managers authorisation to attend the course and unfortunately we will not be able to facilitate abstraction or overtime.
