Remember patient details when using Corpuls

Manual handling ambulance credited to SCAS

Following the launch of the new defibrillators in west Essex the project team would like to remind crews that they need to input the patient details (name and date of birth) and CAD reference into the Corpuls3 whenever it is used, and not just when completing a 12-lead.

This is so that the records can be identified retrospectively and will enable the Trust to get the full benefits from the equipment going forwards.

This week the HART teams will begin using the new equipment. The HART rapid response vehicles will only be using the Corpuls3 model and will not retain the Zoll defibrillator, as the dual running of both is only possible on ambulances.
