Reminder: New starters payroll paperwork

The recruitment team are regularly receiving paperwork after the payroll cut-off date with the expectation these can be processed for payment that month.

Please note that all documentation sent to recruitment for processing needs to be checked, authorisation given and passed on to the payroll team BEFORE the payroll cut-off date for that month.

To help ensure that any paperwork is processed in time and as part of our ongoing process improvement, please send any payroll documents for the recruitment team to process by the 5th of the month to or via post.

For new starters, paperwork can be accepted up to a week after the cut-off date (10th of the month). However, paperwork received after these dates cannot be guaranteed for payment that month.

If you have a new member of staff starting after the 17th of the month, then it is likely that they may not receive their first salary until the 25th of the following month. Please ensure that all new starters effected are aware of this.

December/Christmas cut off date

• December’s cut off is Monday, 3rd December to allow for the earlier Christmas pay date as advertised in NTK earlier this week.

The recruitment team do their best each month to make sure that payroll information is sent in a timely fashion so staff are paid on time. Your assistance in helping the process run smoothly is greatly appreciated.
