Reminder to apply for the Advanced Life Support Course

Don't forget to apply for the Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support Course, sponsored by Luke Chapman, on 2nd November - there are only three places available, so don't delay!

Luke collapsed while enjoying a day at the dogs in 2017. He survived his cardiac arrest thanks to bystander CPR, the swift response from EEAST and the care received from NNUH. Since his arrest, Luke has been determined to improve other people's chance of survival by funding advanced resuscitation training to those who arguably made the biggest difference.

In no more than 400 words, answer the following questions:

  1. How will a Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support Course enable you to help ensure that more people like Luke stand a chance of survival?
  2. What else could be done to promote public education around resuscitation?

See poster below for more information.

To apply, email with your two answered questions and subject: 'Advanced Life Support Award'.
