She “demonstrates all that is good about our profession”: Tracy awarded with paramedic Fellowship

Tracy Nicholls Head of Clinical Quality

We’re offering huge congratulations to Tracy Nicholls, our Head of Clinical Quality, this week after her ‘tireless work, commitment and support’ has earned her a Fellowship with the College of Paramedics.

Tracy became vice chair of the College earlier this year in a bid to support and promote the College, and the paramedic profession as a whole.

Awarding the Fellowship in recognition of Tracy’s many years of support, the College commented that: “Tracy demonstrates all that is good about our profession and the College, she is also one of the nicest and supportive people you could hope to meet.

“Tracy has been a massive influence on the College of Paramedics since its inception. Tracy has been a part of the Council and contributes to the ideals and objectives, there is no doubt without her commitment we would not be in the position we are in today.”

The College of Paramedics is the recognised professional body for paramedics and the ambulance profession in the UK.  It represents its members in all matters affecting clinical practice, and supports them to achieve the highest standards of patient care. Tracy has been an influential member since its inception.

Of the award, Tracy said: "It seems strange to receive such a huge accolade when you do something that you absolutely believe in and support.

“I believe our profession has the best of the best - truly life-saving and life-changing professionals, whatever their grade or experience!  I am truly honoured and am immensely proud that the College has come so far in supporting its members on really important issues and am blown away by this Fellowship.”

From all of us at EEAST – congratulations Tracy!

College of Paramedics membership is open to those who are UK paramedics registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, those who are interested in the sector, or those studying for a qualification leading to eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
