Southend ambulance station is moving!

Colleagues in Essex have been thanked for their work in preparing the ‘go live’, for the new Southend ambulance station.

From 20^th April, the team at Southend will be at:

Unit 12 Aviation Way
Southend on Sea
Essex
SS2 6GG

Karl Edwards, Locality Director for Essex, said: “We are very excited to be moving to a much larger site. We are relocating as our existing lease is up, but the new station is much more appropriate to our requirements with significantly more parking, which has always been an issue at our current station.

“My thanks to the estates and the south-east Essex teams for their work in making this happen. This is a really positive step for staff.”

Lisa Fautley, Senior Locality Manager for south-east Essex, added: “I am extremely excited to be moving to a new, fit-for-purpose premises.  The new station will have excellent facilities for our staff including a training room that can accommodate larger numbers of students. 

“I know a lot of time and dedication has been given by many individuals to ensure the refurbishment and target move date is achieved and I am extremely grateful for everyone’s help.”
