Clinical Quality Matters (CQM) logo

A special edition of Clinical Quality Matters, looking at how we learn from serious incidents (SIs) and complaints, is now available to download.

Clinical Quality Matters is EEAST’s clinical publication that’s written by staff, for staff. This issue includes articles and case studies on:

  • head injuries
  • non-conveyance
  • ambulance statements, and how to write them
  • how we process, and more importantly learn from, complaints
  • adrenal crisis
  • spina bifida
  • violence and aggression against staff
  • thorough assessments and patient care records
  • our quality and safety strategy.

You can also access a printable version here.

Think you’ve missed an issue? All previous editions of Clinical Quality Matters are available internally via our clinical library on East24. Our next issue, themed around ‘complex patients’, is due out at the end of this month, so please keep your eyes peeled!
