Spreading the word on Restart a Heart Day

On Monday, hundreds of young people across the region will be learning how to save a life on Restart a Heart Day.

The biggest CPR mass training event on 16th October will be taking place in schools across the country.

Staff and volunteers who are attending a Restart a Heart Day event are being urged to use #RestartAHeart on social media to spread the word and you can also email your pictures to communications@eastamb.nhs.uk

Cardiac arrest survivor Roger Baines (pictured) is organising an event at the University of East Anglia Sportspark between 10am and 2pm on Monday.

If you are unable to attend an event, you can still lend your support and raise awareness by signing up to a Restart a Heart Day Thunderclap here

A Thunderclap is a pre-planned social media post that you sign up for in advance. The idea is that lots of people sign up to post a specific tweet of Facebook post at a specific time to raise awareness of a cause and, hopefully, get the cause trending on social media channels.
