Staff development pathways – the latest numbers

As well as recruiting vast numbers of student paramedics, the Trust is taking big steps with its internal ECA to EMT, and EMT to paramedic pathways.

To date, 75 ECAs have completed or been assigned to a conversion course, and 57 technicians are on their way to becoming paramedics. Below you can see the timescale for when the courses are running and when the students are due to qualify:

Chief Executive Dr Anthony Marsh said: “It’s really important that we continue giving our staff the chance to develop and progress their skills and I am pleased that 132 of our staff are already on their way. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make these courses possible. This is part of our on-going up skilling programme for all staff.”
