Staff march with Pride in Brighton

Staff joined ambulance services colleagues right across the country to take part in the annual Brighton and Hove Pride march.

About 200 ambulance staff took part in the 6th August parade, the biggest turn out to date, to show their support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Steven Langridge, Senior Paramedic and mentor based at Kempston, represented the Trust at the weekend: “The day was fantastic and was the best turn out the ambulance service has seen, with different ambulance services coming together and displaying the pride the service has for staff diversity. It was a very long walk, but worth every step in the blazing sunshine!”
