Staff show off their dance moves in running man challenge

Dozens of Norfolk staff put their best foot forward and raised hundreds of pounds for charity during a dance challenge.

Around 30 staff from the Trust’s Longwater depot demonstrated their moves for a Running Man Challenge video.

The internet dance trend has gone viral in the United States and New Zealand and emergency services have been challenged to do the same.

Student paramedics Lisa Reus and Vicki Coyle were behind organising the video, which was shot on Tuesday, and all the staff involved were on rest days and not on duty. Some joined in after finishing their night shifts.

Tom Miller shows off his best moves before being joined by his colleagues, whilst Simon Cross filmed and edited the video.

Lisa said: “The Running Man Challenge has been mostly done in New Zealand and we thought it would be a good thing to do here as not many ambulance services have done it. We thought it would be good to have some fun whilst raising money for a good cause.”

Over £150 was raised for charity during the filming and ambulance staff have thrown down the gauntlet to Norfolk Police and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service to take up the challenge.

Within a few hours of going online, the video has received more than 5,000 views. To view the video, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWJa0Xgywh0
