Staff survey - how often do you experience verbal or physical abuse?

RRV with blurred paramedic

Work is underway on a new public campaign to highlight and raise awareness of the issue of physical and verbal abuse against EEAST staff.

The Trust takes a zero tolerance approach to assaults and works  with police and the Crown Prosecution Service to ensure action is taken against those who are violent to staff.

As part of the campaign, we’d like to hear your views.

A short questionnaire has gone live this week, which can found by visiting http://www.eastamb.nhs.uk/staff-assaults-questionnaire.htm

Your responses will help shape this campaign and enable the communications team to target particular areas and media outlets where concerns have been raised.

If you have been assaulted whilst working for the Trust, please report it; you can contact Local Security Management Specialist Anne Wright at anne.wright@eastamb.nhs.uk, or phone 01245 444499. Please also remember to log any incident of abuse or assault, big or small, on Datix.
