Staff taking part in charity cricket match next Friday

Staff from north Essex are ironing their whites and practicing their spin in preparation for a charity cricket match on Friday 12th against Relay for Life, Clacton.

Money is being raised for Cancer Research and The Brain Tumour Charity, following the death of colleague Adrien Paine two years ago.

Weeley-based Paramedic Iain, who has organised the match, said: “We’d love to see as many people supporting the match as possible – there will be food, fun and games on the night, all raising awareness and money for these two wonderful charities.

“We do still have a couple of places available on the EEAST team, so get in touch if you would like to play.”

The game is being held at Clacton Cricket Club on Vista Road next to the leisure centre from 6pm, but the bar opens and food will be available from 5pm.
