Stalham Community First Responders school visit

Stalham High School

Stalham Community First Responders had a fantastic day recently with students at Stalham High School in North Norfolk giving training in CPR, use of a defibrillator, choking and emergency First Aid.

Dr Tim Thirst MBE, Group Co-ordinator said: “It's always a pleasure to help them. The only 'negative' comment was that they would have liked to have had even more time learning from us!”

Here is just some of the feedback they received from the session:

"I now know how to save someone's life by doing CPR and using a defibrillator"

"I didn't think I could do CPR, but I can!"

"I enjoyed the involvement with the first responders, they made the scenarios fun and interactive"

Don’t forget if you’re delivering any training or getting involved in anything similar to our Stalham Community First Responders make sure you get permission to take photos an let our comms team know so we can spread the word on communications@eastamb.nhs.uk!
