Stars of EEAST Awards 2021

After a year like no other, we’re delighted to announce that the Stars of EEAST special recognition awards will be going ahead in November, giving us all the opportunity to celebrate some of our fantastic team members here at EEAST.

The Stars of EEAST Awards are the Trusts annual award ceremony to recognise outstanding achievements from staff and volunteers. Sadly, the awards were cancelled last year due to the pandemic so this will be our first celebration event since 2019. With some restrictions still in place, this year’s ceremony will be going ahead as a virtual ceremony and preparations are currently underway to make this an event to remember.

We will be opening the nominations from Friday 1^st October. There are so many outstanding people working as part of Team EEAST across the region, but this is your chance to nominate the colleagues, either teams or individuals, who you feel are really making a difference to our patients and staff. Please check Need to Know this Friday for the nomination form.

The Long Service awards won’t be part of the Stars of EEAST event in November. We will be recognising our colleagues with long service in separate events locally at sector level and will begin in spring next year. HR will be compiling the lists of those who will be eligible and these will include those who would have been eligible last year as well. Further details will be available nearer the time.
