Professor Rosalynd Jowett, Strategic Advisor for EEAST’s Improvement Programme

The Trust is delighted to welcome Professor Rosalynd Jowett as Strategic Advisor for EEAST’s Improvement Programme.

Rosalynd is an emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of East Anglia. She has extensive strategic higher education, leadership experience in healthcare education and research at several universities. More recently she was the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at University of East Anglia, Norwich.

She has considerable experience in working with local, regional and national health and social care stakeholders to ensure their workforce requirements are met through high quality education provision, based on evidence based practice.

Her academic experience and roles have been predicted by a deep commitment to ensuring high quality learning and professionalism in the healthcare disciplines, both in the UK and internationally.

Her ambition has been and continues to be, to ensure the best healthcare practice outcomes for patients through high quality, innovative education which both challenges and engages students to realise their potential and promote research activities which contribute to better health outcomes.

Rosalynd is looking forward to meeting and working with colleagues at the East of England Ambulance Trust in their delivery of the organisation’s strategic vision and the current Improvement Programme. The aim of which is to maintain and sustain the Trust’s high quality and outstanding care to patients and to establish a work environment which motivates and respects its staff. 

Rosalynd is excited to be a part of the Trust’s team to achieve these aims.
