Stroke week

Side of RRV with lozenge

This week have are promoting stroke care as part of our winter wise campaign.

Stroke care is one of our quality priorities for 2015-16.

We want to reduce the time on scene for patients we know are having a stroke, so they get to a stroke centre within 60 minutes of their call. The Trust also wants to make sure we’re delivering the full stroke care bundle 95% of the time.

Over the last 12 months, the Ambulance Clinical Quality Indicators (ACQIs) for the stoke care bundle has reached over this target.

Thanks to you all for working hard to keep focused on this patient care and outcome measurement.

You can keep up to date with our winter tips by checking out EEAST on Facebook and follow us on Twitter using #winterwise to keep up to date. But what is vital is your own health and wellbeing, and we’ll be posting regular updates about flu, norovirus and other guidance to ensure everyone is winter wise this season.
