Student paramedic accreditation update

Side of RRV with lozenge

We are continuing to work closely with our Universities and Health Education East of England for accreditation of the programme that will lead to eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The information required for the approval process with the HCPC is being finalised, along with the planning needed for intake, including numbers of students and dates. This is required for the HCPC but will also give you a clear idea of the timescale.

A frequently asked question bulletin can be downloaded from Need to Know which gives further background and information.

We will also provide regular updates in Need to Know so that you have the latest information as soon as we do. Please continue to ask questions via the comments section below, as it is likely that your questions will be the same as your fellow students. You can also email training@eastamb.nhs.uk.

We will be writing to SP1-9 soon on the planned intakes to the University and to provide information on pre-admissions work and also the nature and details of the programme.
