Sudden death of Norfolk colleague

Transparent EEAST crest

The Trust is extremely sad to announce the sudden and unexpected death of Ian Hill after he collapsed at home.

Ian was a very well-respected paramedic based in Central Norfolk and a dear friend and colleague to many of us.

We have extended our sympathies and provided support to Ian’s family and friends at this very difficult time. Ian spent almost five years working for EEAST before joining Norfolk police a few months ago and remaining with us on the bank. He will be missed greatly.

Please remember that if you are particularly affected by this sad news there is help and support available through our Employee Assistance Programme which is available on 0800 085 1376. Alternatively you can contact Debra Winterson in the Wellbeing Team debra.winterson@eastamb.nhs.uk, or speak to Red Poppy on 07902 154 817 (the line is open 12pm to 6pm).
